BIG NEWS

OMG BIG NEWS!!!! Okay sooooooo I went to my check-up today at my Maxillofacial Doctors office and found out some good news. The first piece of good news is that my stitches look great and should dissolve soon. I show no signs of infection or complications and I can actually eat/drink normal things now. YAY! I haven't had a Dr. Pepper in a week, so that's really really good. Now here's the BIG NEWS!!

I talked to Dr. Holmgren and asked if I needed the second surgery. He said........ ( drum roll ).................................................... he doesn't know. Hahahahaha STORY OF MY LIFE! Yes, it looks like yet another doctor is confused and unsure when he looks inside my mouth... so comforting.  SO now my Maxillofacial doctor is sending me back to see my Orthodontist ( Dr. Keirl ) and HE is the one who gets to decide if the second surgery is needed.

So most of you are prob thinking " Wait, that's bad. And that's not BIG NEWS." But it is to me. B/c I find this entire thing really hillarious. I have three, count them.... THREE different doctors and three different offices who have THREE different opinions about what is wrong and what should be done about it. So I'm going from Dr. number 3 back to Dr. 2 so he can jumble up some more big words for what's wrong with my face and I'm sure eventually some how it will be fixed. Lol I'm just enjoying this rather odd ride.

In other news, the love birds are home.. so naturally the entire family is at odds. Mom and Katie against Kristi and Naughty... I'm just the regulator that cracks jokes somewhere in the middle of all the mayham. But it's getting pretty sticky.... so i need to get out before I get sucked in. So I'm on my way to B&N right now for some reading time.

And yay for the 4th of July!!!! I love fireworks!!!!

Okay I'm officially weird looking lol. My cheeks are really swollen and I've had to eat nothing but liquids the past three days... : ( But hey that just comes with the territory. On the bright side, everything went really well with the surgery. Dr. Holmgrin told me that I was a great patient and the only unexpected difficulty came when he had to dig around for my wisdom teeth. Apparently the upper ones were way up by my sinus cavities. Other than that, everything went as planned. In a few weeks I'll have a rutine check up and we'll see if that second surgery will be needed or not.

So yeah. I have to admit, it kind of sucks being cooped up in the house all alone, but then again I don't think any of you want to see me this way lol.

In other news..... Kristi has officially moved back home, and Naughty is here visiting for the 4th of July. YAY!  And I've managed to get out of my grandpa's disasterous birthday party due to obvious reasons. So yeah, that's what is new in my life. Leave me some comments, that'd be really nice.
